What are your favorite must-have Droid apps?

I love shopping on the Android market for great apps =) share with us your favorite apps on this thread =) Mine:

My favorite Droid apps (3 tiers):

Tier 1: On my home screen (most useful/most potential):
Gdocs notepad (syncs with google docs, others use ak notepad)
Gtasks (syncs with google tasks on gmail)
LockPattern OnOff (careful, don't forget your pattern, can brick your droid this way - google login to override pattern lock does not work on some droids including mine. Hopefully they'll fix this soon)
Shopsavvy vs barcode reader
Keyring
Pandora (or last.fm if you prefer)
Weather (that's the full name, i like their widget better than all others)
Power manager full (may want to wait till they fix the bluetooth toggle to buy, but i like having dif power profiles to switch to for home vs out and about - i place shortcuts to the profiles on my home screen and oneclick to activate. Alternative is 'locale' but locale doesnt work very well for droid)
Bluetooth toggle for droid (using this till power manager fixes itself for bluetooth)
Advanced task manager (i like that there's auto-end on the full version...saves me the trouble of closing programs manually. Is also a great easy interface for uninstalling programs)
Gps status (i use this for remembering where i parked my car, free and better than other parking apps. Just go to 'radar' view and click 'mark')
Meebo IM (better than IM+ lite, free, create a meebo acct and just sign into one acct and you'll have all your IM including facebook chat!)
Google navigation (included, it takes a while to get used to, but the key is making a 'my maps' on google maps on your computer, hitting 'layers' on google nav and 'more layers' and choosing your 'my maps'. Easier to get places this way than thru 'contacts' in my opinion. Also try mounting the droid vertically for gps use, i like it because you see forward more rather than to the sides - i wonder why other gps dont do that, it makes so much more sense!)

Tier 2: Not on home screen but good to have:
Owner
Saymyname donut (talking caller id, make sure to get donut version, not the old one)
Ringdroid (make own ringtones)
Tone picker (set anything as a ringtone)
Where's my droid

Tier 3: Other useful apps:
Shazam
Places directory
aCar (mileage, maintenance, etc)
Astro (file explorer manager)
B-folders (for keeping sensitive data, can't speak for security, but better than nothing)
Backgrounds
Bible (all Bible versions, but needs data connection)
Dockrunner
Documents to go
gStrings (great free guitar or other instrument tuner)
Guitar chordz
Mabilo ringtones (a team, airwolf, stargate...need i say more? =)
Movies
My coupons
Prayers to share (share and pray for requests anonymously)

Motorola media link (program for your pc, havent used yet but looks to be best solution for syncing music)

the tip for the Navigation with Google Maps is a great one, but when I go to try it, I try to add a location to My Maps on the website, but when I go to look in my locations and had saved the address with a title, it just brings me to the town, not the exact address.

How did you get your addresses saved in Google Maps?

Ah...this is the way to save favorites (like on a Garmin), maybe? Cool! I'll give this a try at lunch. Thanks for the list. I'm a Google Market addict.

So go to google maps, make a "My Map", then click on "My Map", then click on the map name "Home" or whatever, and it should show a map that has all your locations on it, add different locations. to get the exact address, click on the particular address listed under your "Home" map.

So while you're in the car mode, it will pull these saved favorites?
Also, it says these are public on google maps?

I tried it and I keep getting an error that says:

The community map could not be displayed because it contains errors.


Anyone know?

Great list, thanks for posting. First list I've seen in a while where I found some new ones that were worth downloading for me.

Add a few that I like:

Spare Parts - look at battery usage and other settings beyond the normal set available
Home Switcher - if you're using multiple home programs this is a must
OI Notes - allows import/export of CSV files from Outlook/Palm, etc.
Ring Toggle - Chose vib/ring, vib, ring, or silent w/a single click
MountUSB - simple app gives one-click mount. Minor savings of clicks, but I really like this one for some reason.
Bookmark Importer - allows importing of bookmarks from popular browsers

Just put EasyDialer on my home screen...very nice, especially the backup option.

There is an app called "My Maps Editor" by Google in the Market, with it you can save your current location, but you have to open My Maps editor, can't do it from within "Maps". Hope this helps.

I'm getting the error on the droid when I select my map, maybe it has to sync up for a bit?

edit: yup, just needs a bit to load up the data, just went into it again, and it's now without error!
