No it's not!

As you cant get it from the market

If the open beta window has closed to get swype then look for "shape writer" on the market, I have not used it but by all accounts it's the same as swype.

Is hers the 4? if it's not then she wont have the unlock patern iphone owners went on about it so much that Apple have put it on the iphone4 so you could point out that Apple are now copying Android

Ahhhh no its the IP3.... although that pattern alone will not be enough, BUT as fate would have it, when trying to download shape writer, it couldnt. Error message said that the program is not available in South Africa yet

Ok just downloaded it and installed it but what does it do can't find it anywhere lol

Long press on any text box on your phone, if your viewing this on your phone then use the reply box at the bottom of this page.

When you do you will see an option box press on input method and select swype, but first you will need to go into the phone settings-local and text and click enable swype then do the above and you will have the swype keypad and them just swype away.

Correct m8...Navigate to the thread in your phone and hit the link...Swype will then install direct to your phone

I have swype already and still have the email invite so just use that link every time I reroot.

Just realized what you have done there!

Next time anyone wants swype on their phone all they have to do is visit this thread on their phone and click on your link, think you might get a few thanks for that I'm guessing that will be for any android device to.

Wow! So that link worked on my Incredible too. Is there any harm in using it on my Dinc? Is it an old download?

Also, is there a time limit on it like all of the other beta versions? What do I do when it runs out? :/

Wel I don't know bout the incredible but its the same version as the first x10 beta, works the same n al. I know there was another beta after that but people reported crashes n stuff. to me works perfect and I don't think there is a d-day lol

Thanks very much for the swype link, I've only ever been able to find trials before. Today was the first time I used swype and all I can say is my phone must have psychic powers or something, it's amazing!

Edit - I have a question as well, which isn't meant to offend anyone, it's purely just curiosity. Are there any users who have difficulty spelling who use swype and is it still effective?

That's because it's a closed beta and not available to the general community yet. It's also copyrighted so distributing or linking to it is against forum rules.
