DO NOT buy the hard case from ATT

First of all it makes it hard to open and close the usb door, second it is hard to take off if you wanna access your SD card or battery, and finally but worst of all I got one scratch and a nick on the back from it (however both are almost invisible, so I'm not that angry about it). Just a heads up.

I second that! I got mine off by using, no joke, my hands and my feet. I got scratches on the top center by the camera, not to bad but that's what I was trying to prevent.

I took it into AT&T today with my receipt and they let me return it and get the bodyglove one, and I got $5 back.

Don't Buy it.

I had this happen to my old Samsung Jack, since then, I've sworn against hard cases...

Another hard case to body glove convert here. After hearing stories of scratching, I checked my son's old phone (1 year old LG Xenon kept inside a hard case) against mine same model, but kept without a case. His phone body was scratched up pretty bad, but mine looked like it just rolled out of the factory. So I took the incipio case off (a monumentally difficult task), and swapped it out for the body glove (took a little persuasion, because I had thrown away all the packaging). The moment I put the body glove on the phone, I realized how much more superior it was. It is far lighter and thinner, lets me keep a better grip on the phone, looks better, allows me to slide the micro USB slot door closed, and can be taken off in seconds if I ever need access to the battery compartment. What is there to complain? I don't know about impact protection superiority, and I hope I never find that out first hand.

I have the hard, and remember it being almost impossible to remove, but didn't notice any scratches. I took it off this morning after reading this thread (with some major effort) and sure enough, scratches on the top and bottom of the phone.

I'm actually really pissed! I got the case to protect my phone from cosmetic issues, and instead it creates them! I haven't had the phone 2 wks yet and am going to ask for a replacement for both the phone and a switch to the other case. Will this be an issue for the ATT guys? I'm mad to the point I'll return the phone and eat the restocking fee if they won't take it.
