Root [VIDEO] Upgrade to Froyo 2.2 Leak

I did not run into either of these issues, FWIW..

Thanks for making a vid though! I was going to write-up a how-to once I got my work done today (isn't that what a job is for? lol..)

you didnt have a market issue? search for tapatalk and see if the paying one appears. Are you running the stock 2.2 leak or skyraider 2.0?

i didnt installed skyraider because exchange wasnt working on it and thats a must for me.

Thanks for taking the time to put the vid together, I'm looking forward to checking it out...

FWIW, I've tried downloading the files from your website three times since you posted the link, each time it errors out at exactly 85% (unexpected end of archive at about 128/156Mb). Attempting to extract the .zip with WinRAR on two different machines returns an error of "file is of unknown format or damaged".

I did have the correct radio version. Triple checked it because I was worried about screwing up.

I didn't have any WiFi tether problems using 2_0_2 but if you have found a fix to enable AP, I'm all in. What's the nature of the tether fix?

Anyone know if AP is working with the new kernel there? The OP didn't post the other video and no one has reported back about wifi tether with the update.

Love these vids, even though I'm at the point that I can usually follow the outlined directions without a problem, dont know why but they are really enjoyable to watch.

Hmm, id rather have internal storage than wifi tether for now, hope it can get fixed soon so I can flash the kernels and use it in AP

Same here. I used the .bin file and wireless tether apk from this thread (created an "android.tether" folder in root of sd card and placed them there).

Resolved my memory issue and wireless tether is working like a charm...
