What do your X Screens look like?

I've been using ADW Launcher lately over Launcher Pro Plus, and have redone all of my home screens. My setup goes

1 Social Networking - 2 Multimedia - 3 System Tools - 4 Main Home - 5 Productivity - 6 Media - 7 Games/Sports

Nearly all of the on screen apps are actually FolderOrganizer icons that link to groups of apps in that category. I can get to every app without touching the app drawer. Anyway, here's the current setup:

Here's a shot of one of the FolderOrganizer icons expanded:

Do you burn through battery with all those widgets? And if not, what settings do you have on them to prevent you from burning through your battery?

I have about 8 widgets total and I can't make it 8 hours without a dead battery.

I LOVE your setup. I have a few questions:

Where did you get that battery app and widget on your 3rd page? Where did you get that background? What is the thing on the top of your 3rd page? Where did you get that setup on the top of your main screen (the weather, time and date)? What weather app is that on the top of the 5th page?

Thanks! It took me forever to set it up. The battery widget is "Battery Left Widget". It was plugged in when I took the pics, otherwise it would have showed how much time was left before the battery ran out. This particular background I got from the app "Zedge". The weather/time is Beautiful Widgets Smaller Home, with the NeonTransparent Skin. Finally, the weather app on the 5th page is Weatherbug Elite, as is the Radar widget.

My battery life is fluctuating. I found a few widgets, such as "ScoreMobile", that are battery drains and have removed them. I monitor the widgets with Settings>Applications>Running Services and Autokiller (root app). I try to get rid of the memory hogs. I also use JuiceDefender, and have the data transmit set to 1 minute every 15 minute, and have increased the refresh time on most of the widgets.

Battery Left Widget is reading 13:23 of Full Battery Life, but it does fluctuate a little bit. I also have my brightness turned down all of the way for most of the day, and can still see everything perfectly.

Hey Gamble,
So, I have LPP and ADW loaded, but I haven't used ADW yet. I was curious if having multiple launchers adversely affected your performance at all. LPP is starting to lag, but I wonder if it's because I have widgets galore loaded on each screen. I see your note about ScoreMobile. I had that until it froze and wouldn't update, so I went to ESPN.

I have both and have switched between them in the past few days and haven't noticed any lag on either. To be honest, the only time I've noticed lag was when I briefly messed around with the stock UI.

I love me some LPP, but I'm starting to think I might just go with ADW with my replacement. As silly as it sounds, I love the ability to resize widgets.

here is just my home screen. I'm going to try the minimalist approach for a bit. Any rooted droid xer's know how to get rid of the stock battery icon and clock in the status bar?

Ok, thanks for that bit of info. I have had the battery left widget for a few days now and my estimation on a full charge is 8hrs. I have fewer widgets running than you do and I have the brightness to zero as well. This battery is going to hell tomorrow.

Awesome setup btw! :D

Thanks for posting that widget, best Sense replication I have seen.

Is the weather off for anyone else? Wherever it is pulling the weather from says is 78* tonight, whereas weatherbug elite shows it as 63".... And judging by the open window next to me, its 63", not 78"...

[edit] guess that is a common theme here with this widget. cryin shame too. Might have to check out beautiful widgets instead.... [/edit]
