Easy fix: sports calendar on your android phone

So I have given up on Google fixing the problem of sports calendars on our Android phones, but I found a great and super easy work around.

Yahoo.com -> Sports -> choose your sport and team -> scores and schedule -> add to calendar -> choose google calendar.

Bam! -> My Dallas Cowboys schedule is now on my Droid X! And the Yahoo calendar includes preseason games which the google calendar did not.

It's actually not a problem, Google knows they don't show up anywhere but the Google site.. I looked into this a lot cause I had no idea why mine would not work.. but its a licensing issue I guess. =(

Yahoo is nice I hate how they dont put team names tho.. Just the cities... When basketball and hockey going on I have to guess what sport it is.

Anyone else's calendar disappear off their phone today? I had my cowboys schedule synced up just fine then tonight it vanished. In the calendar settings it still shows on my calendars and is checked, and my calendar on google.com still has all the games on it, but nothing on my phone calendar.

This whole sports calendar bull* *** is starting to really irritate me. Seriously what is wrong with having a team schedule on our phones? I would take the time to type it out myself on my calendar if it wasn't for flex scheduling, but this is getting rediculous.

There is my rant for the day, seriously, anyone else have their calendar events disappear today?

Change the colors in google calendars, then i use the google colors in pure calendar. this way the teams color is at least displayed with the city.

the eagles is there, but i can't get the phillies schedule to show up. some random game dates and that's it.

I just reset my phone and now my Cowboys calendar is back. Don't know what was going on, just glad it's working again

Correction: I spoke to soon, only the first game (HOF game on the 8th) is on the calendar, the rest of them are still gone.

I guess ill be using ical files.. which sucks casue they are not dynamic like yahoo! and Google... how sad. I hope it magically gets fixed by NFL season start.
