The missus has just got herself a new phone, and guess what? It's a 'droid. Okay so it's the Xperia X10 Mini Pro, but a droid one non the less. Spent all night setting it up for her LOL.

I had an n96 before and the missus was so jealous of what i could do with it. When we upgraded I was showing her the Legend but once she had seen the Desire and had a quick play she wanted one too

Both now have Desires, Her's is not used as intensively as mine but have set it up for her and she loves it. Got her the Sky+ app yesterday and she is over the moon as that was one thing on my n96 she really wanted.

She still moans at me though when I'm sitting there playing with it at night. Just tell her that I am testing out apps for her's

I had the HTC Hero for a few weeks then 3 released the Desire. My wife showed interest in the Hero so I let her have it and went for the Desire. She loves Android and started off with a simple scene and is now asking for more to be added. I will show her how to set up her own widgets and shorcuts and see what she comes up with

I got my fiance A Hero last year. I knew at that point I wanted an Android device too so a month after she got it the HTC roadmap leaked with the Bravo.

Eventually I got it and I was asking her questions. She's pretty proficient in android usage now, but she's not really one for apps.

Cost was a factor with my missus. She's always been a pay as you go person. This is her first contract phone, so she didn't want to spend too much. Maybe when her contract is up she'll get something with bit more umph.
