Root Wireless Tether for Root - No Netfilter!

Does anyone know how to get Wireless Tether to work on the Behold? I tried running the program however it states that it has No Netfilter.

If not does anyone know any other program (besides PDAnet) that might work to tether the behold 2? Thanks!

Nothing will work until we can get custom roms with a kernel that supports such feature.

Yeah its weird I just tried it. I downloaded the Wifi apk for Galaxy but it said something about no netfiller. Turns Out I had to connect my device to the pc, turn on USB Debug then goto cmd and type in, adb shell then type in, su. to allow the program access to the root. But even still after I Successfully connected to my phone, The internet still wouldnt work and when i checked the log it had failed at everything. PDAnet does work tho. Just slow as hell. For me atleast.

My understanding is that netfilter is installed on custom roms, of which none are available yet for the B2.

And pdanet seems to work great for me. Just remember that even a 3G connection on a PC, is not even close to a cable connection you have at home. But should be more than enough to check email and basic web browsing.

There exists, now, devices that offer this functionality (for additional $25-$45 per month). I ran into the same issues with my Motorola DROID and this post was the first that worked for me in alleviating the Netfilter initialization errors.

I hope it helps someone find the answer quicker than it did me. Make sure you back up your settings & paid apps first cause I lost mine during the process.
