ok so i installed the new cyanogenmod 6 a while ago and it seemed everything was working ok. but things started to get really slow, so slow i didnt even want to use my phone. plus i was recieving sms messages like 5 hours after they were sent. and the market sucks on cyan 6. i see that some people have also had this problem. i just finally decided to reinstall the cyan 5.0.8 and it works great again. i think i just NEEDED to have 2.2 lol, maybe the original mt3g really shouldnt handle 2.2?

I have an original MT3G and have no problems running CM6 on it. It's not super fast, but definitely better than before running stock 1.6.

Same here...been running CM6 for a couple weeks now and I haven't had any real problems. Have noticed my battery lasting alot longer lately though. Have had my phone unplugged since 0430 this morning and have done some web surfing and I'm only at 84% so far. It's 1330 right now btw.
