Hi im a newb and need some help rooting.

Names Rachel, have a sprint Hero. Want to root it but cant seem to figure it out...

my firmware vs is 1.5

and my software vs. is 1.56.651.2

I have tried the unlocker one click as well as command prompt versions and neither work...any ideas but I know I'm missing something here

You need to go your phone's sub-form's root section and ask there.
