Help Help me BUY an app please

I have a Google account set up, I enter the Evil Sports email address associated with the account and the pass when Im trying to buy an app and I get "your user name and pass do not match". I even changed the pass from my desk top and tried again, rebooted the phone and tried for the 10th time No go
WTF am I doing wrong??

I'm pretty sure the market doesn't accept non @gmail Google addresses it doesn't work for our work address. What we did is just set up a personal gmail address and attach a card to it. You can even tell it not to sync email and contacts if you don't want them.
