i was on youtube mobile watching a certain video from my favorites and when i turn my phone the screen went from portrait to landscape and back as i turned it again, thats pretty cool i didn't now that the phone does this yet, i knew it had the capabilities but i didn't know it was implemented, btw only works with certain videos.:D

I heard users didn't like it in testing, so automatic rotating was removed...

This is ridiculous and annoying in some apps. At least give us the option to turn it on. The fact that you have to open the keyboard to view websites in landscape mode is REALLY annoying.
The web browser has an option to set the orientation manually. Turn that on, and you can browse in landscape regardless of whether the phone is open.

Where can I find this option to allow landscape viewing in the browser without the keyboard open... I've looked everywhere?

While in browser hit MENU>MORE>FLIP ORIENTATION

It doesn't turn on the accelerometer in the browser (though it should), it just defaults the browser to either landscape or portrait and it won't change again unless you manually go through the menu and switch it again. Hope that helped.

ok so here it is go to m.youtube.com which is the mobile site for youtube, dont use the youtube app that came with the g1 search in videos The israeli song, its a song in hebrew so ignore the videos, and please no jewish jokes, but turn the phone side ways and it will auto rotate, it only seems to work with that video no other ones, but remmeber you have to go through youtubes mobile site not the one that came with the g1, someone please try it and tell me if it works for you guys as well. btw the video should be the one on top when you search with like a purple background and like a guy sing
ing with back up singers
