I did a factory reset cause of a glitch and reinstalled everything through MyBackUp. I'm looking through my contacts and it seems like there are doubles, and even sometimes triple of people on my phone.

SOME, I've never put it but rather were created I think through my facebook account.

For EXAMPLE, some person I friended and now his email in my list twice, and one time with nothing, no email, no phone number, just asking if things like send to voicemail, etc...

What do I do?

I had to do some house cleaning, as I too had doubles.

Not sure if this is what happened in your case, but here is mine.

I used VZ's backup assistant AND also sync to Google's contacts. That saved two contacts for each person for whatever reason.

To organize better, I decided to stick with one backup system. I picked Google so that I could easily manipulate the info vs. Verizon, and so that I wasn't stuck to one carrier. In order to do that I used backup assistant and then sync'd with google. Then went into Google's contact list and merged all my duplicate contacts and cleaned up the info. Exported as CSV.

Opened that up, and deleted any weird phone characters. For example my Verizon backup assistant put ( and ) in my phone numbers. I deleted those (a simple Find...replace to quickly do it). Then deleted all my google contacts and imported the new list.

Now I don't use backup assistant at all. When you make a change on Google's contact list, or on your phone, each change is instantly reflected once it is sync'd. Very, very easy to keep track of everything and everyone. It took a few hours but forced me to "clean house" and get it all in order. So worth it now...
