Newbie Question about Beautiful Weather

This is my first smartphone and so far the phone is proving to be smarter than me I got Beautiful Widgets and am curretnly using Beautiful weather, however I want to switch from using the big icon on the home screen to the small one but can not figure out how to remove the big one from the screen...any idea's?

Just long-press on it and drag to the trash icon that will appear towards the bottom of the screen.
