Froyo 2.2 Flash crashing bug

Flash seems to be the biggest problem with the 2.2 HTC pre-release build. I've poked around with the problem for a few minutes and have yet to find a solution to getting 10.1 to work, however, you can get around the random crashes by starting your browser and immediately stopping whatever page is loading. Head into the settings and disable javascript. This will enable you to still use your browser, just not any flash. Hopefully we'll get a solution shortly.

There is a solution to this. You need to do a hard reset and wipe out everything.

why would it be necessary to wipe everything? isn't it likely that the hard reset is doing something that could also be done without that extreme measure?

That's how I fixed the problem.

It works flawlessly. Not only that, with all other features as well.

I'm pretty sure HTC will send the final version without having to do this, but as of now, I have no problems with this new update.

Im getting the same crashes any time I try to view any flash content with the official Froyo update. I believe the cause of the crashes could be the Flash without Froyo download for the EVO (Flash 10.1 working on HTC EVO without Froyo?). I can't find a way to remove it but Im just going to give up and hard reset.
