Help Battery problems after the new update?!

I noticed a drop in battery life also. And I was expecting an improvement to battery life :(
Only way to roll back is to reflash the ROM.
That's what HTC told me when I was having issues upgrading as I asked them. So if you've got your goldcard use it!

I've not had problems with battery life on mine. It's being going a day and a half and only half the battery life has gone.
I do suspect that the battery usage will go up as the wifi/mobile signal has probably had the power "boosted" by the software upgrade to hopefully resolve the connectivity issues.
Leaving wifi on when I do go to bed I do find drains quite a bit of power.

As per my earlier post, before the update it was awesome, easily lasting 2 days, thats with WiFi or Data enabled 24/7.

Now I'm losing up to approx 8% every 45min with the phone just idling. I don't know what's wrong...!!

Before I used to lose 2%, perhaps 3% overnight..at a maximum, now I'm losing up to 10% overnight. Quite unbelievable.

You can imagine how the battery drops whilst I'm on call

I wish I could roll back to pre-OTA update...but that seems like a big hassle, so I'm hoping FroYo will arrive soon...

Last night I noticed mine dropped a good 30% during the night (7hrs) after I had fully charged it before going to bed.
I did however activate friends stream last night and I do believe this to be the culprit.
Fully charge my phone this morning and removed friend stream and here I am a good 8hrs later and my phone is still fully charged...
Go figure, coincidence?

I had enough of the battery problems, especially considering my battery before the update was brilliant.

I know its not the solution that will suit all, but I rooted my Legend this morning and applied a better ROM (NeonMod) and I have got my brilliant battery life back:

It's up and running for 3hrs31min, with data on, WiFi on, Bluetooth on (I wanted to test how the battery will cope) and battery is at 99%. This is what I was used to before that troublesome update :).
