I was wondering if anyone ever used the worry free guarantee? I know there is a $35 restocking fee, but are there any other fees?
Also, if I want to port my number back to my old Carrier, do I need to sign up again with my old Carrier to have it ported over? Thanks.
Just a" FYI", There is no Restock Fee should you encounter a hardware defect within the first 30 days.
I called Customer Care (*611) regarding some hardware issues with my device and the guy I spoke with was the one who actually brought up waiving the $35 Restock Fee.
Should an instore rep tell you they can't waive the restock fee, have them call Customer Care right there, and you will get the fee waived over the phone.
It was hard to believe but he said and I quote,
"This is company policy. "
Customer Care noted my account, waiving the $35 Restock fee on my X should I choose to return within the 30 days.
I pay nothing to return. I simply bring the original packaging etc in, also bring receipt to ensure return process is quick.
I get my NE2 back, as well as my renewal date.
Everything goes back to before I bought my device.
A phone that works with VZ is all you need.
I am sticking with VZ, I have a Droid 1, that's all I need if I decide to make the return.
