Hi Droid fans!
My hubby just bought me a brand new Android with Droid 2.0 phone for my birthday (which is today), and I am LOVING it! I can hardly put it down, it's so much fun! Great apps, amazing capability ~ Whoosh! When the Verizon rep at the store was telling us all about its capabilities, I quite nearly swooned! Anyway, to say the least, I have been enjoying this phone a LOT! No more boring plane rides when we travel ~ I have my toy as well as my phone! (obviously I will have it on airplane mode during that time)
Speaking of traveling, we hope to go to Ireland this coming spring, and I cannot wait! We plan to stay in B&Bs, and soak up the culture, and meet lots of wonderful people while we're there. The best part of traveling for me is meeting new folks, and getting to know what their lives are about. You can find friendly people everywhere if you show yourself friendly!
I'm an amateur photographer (have a Canon 40D), love using Photoshop, adore traveling & exploring new places, going scuba diving, and reading lots of books! Most of all, though, I love meeting new people and learning about their lives ~ everyone has a story you can learn from!
My husband and I have been married since 1995 and live in northeast Texas. I have lived here since 1985, and grew up in southeast Pennsylvania, was a flight attendant for a charter airline in my 20s and have traveled all over the U.S. and the western hemisphere, both as a flight attendant and then with my husband ~ and sometimes with my two stepdaughters in tow, as well.
Anyway, I am excited about this forum and look forward to learning more about my Droid and having some of my questions answered that I can't find anywhere else!
Nice to meet you all and hope to get to know some of you as time goes on!
