can you rotate anything both ways? i noticed with my dinc i still can't rotate youtube or any videos both ways, but everything else seems to rotate either direction.

this was sent to me from one of my sources inside BigRed so im not sure about the specifics but i would guess it means you can turn your phone up to 270

I like how they repeat the features so it sounds like more stuff...

Applications
􀂅 The Froyo version of the Android OS is designed to provide improved application performance.
􀂅 You will see improved video playback and applications will open faster and tasks will complete quicker.
􀂅 Froyo allows you to download and install Adobe Flash so you can view your favorite Flash powered websites and access Flash based games.
􀂅 Froyo enables the LED flash during video capture.

These are the ones I'm looking forward to. To be honest, I'm not really that excited about Froyo - it seems like a pretty minor update, and hopefully will not cause more problems/bugs. More importantly to me is whether we will get Gingerbread in a timely manner after it's released! Of course, by that time, I'll probably be upgrading to another phone anyway, hehe.

The article you posted was specifically for the original Droid, not the Droid X. They say it's because the hardware doesn't support it, blah blah blah. The Droid X will always have tethering, but no, you will not get it for free unless you root and use one of the WIFI tethering apps.

Same thing on Sprint, though. You have to pay for the Hotspot service unless you root and/or use other roms. You can pretty much expect all carrier Android phones coming out from now on will have tethering available, but only through their paid service (unless you hack). We might not like it, but it's no different than charging large amounts of money for text messaging when it only uses a minuscule amount of data. They are trying to protect their business model.
