I was using the phone reading email and the battery indicator all of a sudden went from 50% to 5% and i got a prompt telling me to charge it. I knew this could not be right and i proved it by surfing the net for 10 mins and watching a video for 75 minutes before the phone died. Has anyone had this happen to them?

Try discharging the battery all the way so it's completely dead and then give it a full charge. See if that re-calibrates the indicator. Don't do this more than every other week or longer.

I have been having this same problem. My battery indicator is stuck at 5%. I put the phone on the charger and let it charge to 100% and as soon as I take it off, back down to 5%. Obviously the battery is fine...not sure what to do. Tried rebooting, tried letting it die and recharging, took it to Verizon and got a new battery, still nothing. Guess I'll just have to get a new one?
