Do you carry an extra battery pack?

Just wanna know how many android users out there take advantage of the interchangable battery.

For me, i always carry 1 extra battery pack with me when i go out.

For those who dont, why is that so? (IE. cannot afford, use wall charger, not required..etc)

I tried it once, but apparently you can only use an official samsung battery with this phone, so I keep getting errors. If samsung made an extended battery for the moment, I'd have a spare.

I just purchased 1 spare battery and I've testing/breaking it in. However, having the spare at this point is kind of useless since my current battery lasts all day. It's more for that rare day of brutal usage where I'd need a battery backup.

I have another battery for the DX, but the battery life (especially with root) is muuuuch better than the DI, so I rarely use it. In fact, I'm trying (unsuccessfully) to drain my batter, so I can get an accurate reading on "battery left".

I recently ordered a spare battery and a charger for my Motorola Backflip. I don't intend to use it often, but I often forget to charge my phone at night so if I'm going somewhere, I can just swap the batteries out real fast. I might end up ordering another one so I can just keep it in the car.

Dont need one as I have a 3600mAh in my x10, charge it every night, from max until I put it back on charge before bed (roughly 9am-11pm) the most it has evergone down is to 48% and that was heavy use.

Worth noting though with the old 1500mAh (supplied one) I wouldn't get past noon before it need topping up as it would hit about 9/10% and that was medium use lmao

As of right now, I do not. I have the wall charger and I purchased a car charger. So far, it's been more than adequate. Since I had a Blackjack with an extended battery back in the day, I sure hope that they make extended batteries for the Samsung Vibrant.

Poll results are 8/8 so far. To be honest im a little surprised. I expected most android users to bring around a spare battery pack for emergencies.

Well i keep mine in a plastic slip and place it in my bag all the time. So its no big deal. My classmate (Who uses an iphone) saw me swapping my battery pack the other day in class. And she was smiling to herself.

Being able to change the battery comes in handy to me (or will/would) when and if the battery goes bad. If I had iPhone I would have to pay at least $100 or more to get it replaced. But with an Android (or any other phone for that matter) it's as simple as buying a battery (ebay FTW) and just replace it. No needing to send it to a repair center and wait a week or more to get my phone back. And no spending top dollars to get it replaced either.

QFT. What my dad and i have been saying all this while. This is one of the reasons why i dumped my iphone 3GS for a nexus one.
