Group to Voicemail - Automatically send groups of Contacts to Voicemail

Group to Voicemail version 1.1 is now available on the Market!

Noteworthy updates:
* You can now create "Overnight" schedules -- basically, any schedule that goes to the next day and is less than 24 Hours.
* You can also set Repeat Days for these "Overnight" schedules, so if you wanted to create a schedule that went Monday through Friday from 8:00pm to 7:00am the next day, you can.

Any questions? Let me know!

I am looking for an app that has one of the fetures that Phone Alarm for WinMO has (they have not committed to doing an Android dev...yet).

That is, I want my phone to forward to a specific number, based on my location. that could be based on cell tower, wifi, or GPS coordinate.

This is the one app I use on my WinMO, that I can't find so far for Android, that makes me hesitant to change.

FYI...I checked with Locale, and they indicate they can't do it with their app because the OS (Android') security will not allow it. Seems strange...

a try before you buy option would have been nice. Im not in the habit of paying for something I dont know how it works.

Hi,

I figured that the default Market policy of being able to try it for 24 hours and still be able to get a full refund would have been enough for trying out the app.

If you've read through the description on the website and still have questions, I'd be happy to answer them.

I do have plans to release a free/limited version, but that's still in the works for now.

Thanks!

I like the idea of your program but am wondering if it can be switched on and off manually rather than by a time period? It would be a great way to receive only calls from my wife and daughter while driving. I'd want to take their calls, but no one else.

It is possible to set the groups to voicemail manually from the Groups tab -- you can then unset them manually from the same place as well.

The way the "Everyone Else to Voicemail" option works is that anyone in your Contacts besides the specified group will be sent to voicemail. However, numbers not in your Contacts (random 1-800 numbers for example) would still come through. One of the things I'd like to add is the ability to block those as well, but have not been able to include that just yet.

Hopefully that answers your question. If not, let me know and I can further clarify.

Sorry to bring back old threads, but with the new market policy of 15 minutes for a refund, that doesn't give much time to really try it out. Is there an update on a free/limited version?

Hi! Thanks for your interest in the app!

You are probably right that 15 minutes isn't really enough time to test out an app. I did put together the website with quite a few screen shots and as much information I could think of, so if you have any specific questions, I'd be happy to answer them.

Unfortunately, I haven't had much time to dedicate to this app -- definitely not as much as I would have liked to. Due to some personal circumstances, I may not have much time any time soon -- so for the near future, there is no plan to introduce a limited or free version.
