Hi all,

Feel free to skip down past the asterisks.

I've been having issues with my BH2 the last few days. To make it simple I'll just show a chain of events.

> Installed microhaxo v2
> then microhaxo v3 (Love it)
> Installed Rom manager and ran the file permission fix
> ran the boot installer program from rom manger
> In the process of messing around with rom manager I accidentally reset the phone back to factory
> I figured I'd install BH_MAN's 2.1 to check it out
> Had my fun and tried to go back to microhaxo v3 but the during boot the screen would go black (I tried to flash a few times to no avail)
> Also I noticed from here on out that the Recovery Menu was green and had BH_MAN in the image
> I could get stock 1.6, BH_MAN galaxy 1.6, BH_MAN 2.1 and microhaxo v2 to install
> I noticed something odd - The internal memory was showing 0.00 free space on stock 1.6, microhaxo v2 and couldn't install apps due to lack of space
> On BH_MAN galaxy 1.6 it showed around 140MB free but apps wouldnt download for an unknown reason

**************
> By this point I was getting reckless....Extremely reckless
> I tried flashing w/ odin a full galaxy rom I found here = drop.io - i7500zhil3
From this forum = http://androidforums.com/all-things-root-behold-2/35487-galaxy-stock-android-behold-2-flies.html
> NOW my real issue. It doesnt power at all (or LCD backlight) - No download or Recovery hotkeys

Its fully bricked - lol - Any ideas?

i7500 is probably the actual Galaxy version of the ROM. The "Galaxy ROM" from BH_Man is a PORT of the Galaxy ROM, ie: Modded to work with the Behold 2.

The phone is probably not starting due to the various hardware differences. The phones are ALMOST identical, but not quite (Hence why BH_Man's Galaxy Ports don't have Vibrate or the Behold 2 Camera app)

However, even with the hardware differences, I wouldn't imagine that the phone would be totally bricked.... It *SHOULD* still allow boot into recovery or download mode (Or at the very least, holding down power SHOULD at least turn on the screen or face buttons backlight)

try this
How to Undo/return to the original firmware

If you want to undo this you need to use odin to flash the original
files. You can find tuorials in alot of places. The Flash files
you'll need are here:

In fact it doesnt show that it is charging - i.e. doesnt show the animated battery charging when plugged in the PC or wall

Yep sounds like you have a paper weight, I hope you have the insurance through T-Mobile all you have to do is call customer care till them that the phone fell to the ground and won't boot! As long as you have the insurance they will replace it for free and will arrive in three business days, I'm on my second one right now just switch it out today. They refuse to give me a 2.1 device for Samsucks lack of support and being conned into buying this crap of a phone so plan on getting a new one ever two weeks till they get tired of switching it out shipping is on them of course. Good luck getting the phone to turn on but if its bricked there's always switching it out for another.

actually, that did happen to me. My phone hit concrete and bounced. I had to re-flash the rom I was using just to get it to work. And then, the phone had a kind of cell phone torrets syndrome, where the phone notification would go off at complete random for no reason.
Now I DO have insurance, so I called Tmo, and they told me all I have to do is pay a deductible and they would send me a new phone. Kind of defeats the point of paying for insurance, when I still have to pay when I use it. Your best bet is to try and grab one used, if you can find one cheaper than whatever your deductible is.

You got to be kidding me they want you to pay a deductible for this piece of sh?t. How long have you had the phone because I got mine back in February and no deductible was needed to replace mine. The day they ask for a deductible for this phone, is the day I send this piece of crap to Robert Dotson CEO of T-Mobile in a brown paper sack with my dogs leftover sh?t from the yard! I would try calling Executive Customer Care and get that so called deductible waved there's no way you should have to pay a deductible no way in hell.

I dont have insurance because I've never bought a phone through Tmo (btw paying a deductible while paying for insurance sucks) - I'm shipping mine to Sumsux under the manufacturers warranty; even though its was a craigslist phone they were able to look up the info via the EIME. The one year warranty starts when the EIME is activated buy the carrier. I think I'll write a note, when I send the phone, asking for the Cincy Bell firmware XD

Yes, CSC - BOOT - PDA - PHONE, I'm pretty sure BOOT was the dumbest
You hit the nail there. The Bootloader messed up your phone. I have sucessfully flashed part of the i7500 but you cannot do the CSC and/or BOOT... that will BRICK the phone. Either way it wouldn't have run as when you flash the i7500 you get stuck in a bootloop.

Sorry to hear that you BRICKED your phone though. At least now you can probably get something better than the POS BH2.

Funny thing is I live in Cincy and have played with one in store the day after it came out - I thought about buying one > ripping the Rom > then returning it but there is a 35 dollar restocking fee - Sorry everyone! It really it just like BH_MANs/microhaxo's Roms
