hey guys.. i just sold my iphone and got this vibrant and i have couple question =).. obviously i just got it today so im very new to it and i been trying to figure stuff out for past 3 hours lol.. but i still can figure out how do i add songs from my computer to the phone??? when i plug in usb it just show the icon and cant figure out if i can put the songs in there or not.. if anyone could help me out here that would be great!!

Drag and drop is all you need to be able to do. Plug your phone in to your computer (via USB) and let it read as a disk drive. Then go in to the internal storage/sd-card drive and create a folder that says "Music" or "MP3" or whatever your preference for tagging is. Find the songs you want to put in that folder, copy them, and paste them into your music folder. Wait until the transfer finishes. End sequence.

thanks for respond.. when i plug usb, it just show icon say safely remove hardware.. when i had iphone files just pop up and i can open or view or whatever.. im kinda confuse =(

This isn't meant with any malice, just an honest question, but have you never used a USB device other than an "iProduct" before? Do you have a Windows PC or Mac?

yeah never really mess with usb device other then ipod and i have Window.. I took memory card out from the phone and stick in SD card came with and im messing around with it.. is this what you were talking about?

Try swiping downward on the top menu bar of your screen - you'll get a little pull down - should be an option that say's "USB connected" - click it, then choose mount.

More or less, yes that's what I'm talking about. So you can see what is on the micro sd card (that you put in your phone) on your computer? If so, create a Music folder, then copy all of the songs you have downloaded that you want on them, and paste them into that Music folder.

I use a macbook with droid-x what you need is Double Twist and then load all of the Apple media to anything.

Use a music player on the phone to play them. Alternatives are Meridian, 3, MixZing, DoubleTwist, etc. from the market.
