Help Picture Messaging Issue????

I have the Moment with android and have had no problems with picture messaging until last week. I can send pictures just fine, but when I receive them, the picture doesn't pop up in the text conversation like normal, it leaves a link to "download" the image. I click download and an error message pops up stating that the process com.android.mms has stopped unexpectedly and shuts down.

What happened? What can I do?

Thanks.

I also have a prob similar to this but instead of something popping up, I dont even recieve the msg at all. The only way for me to know that I've recieved a pic mail from someone is to go onto the sprint picturemail website. I also have a prob with sending and recieving videomail too, I can't do it. I heard that the moment doesn't support videomail.

I'm having this exact trouble, too.
at first, i was able to begin getting some pic's by clearing Handcent cache (using AstroFM), but more recently it's happening again despite re-clearing the cache.
i've searched alot of threads & posted new threads, but it seems it's a very limited user-experienced issue b/c there are few replies (except for your post).
it's so very frustrating.

it's not the PRL, not the data connection, not Handcent (the stock messaging app will either freeze the "downloading" MMS text, or not even show there is one to download)...

it's really my only gripe with this phone...minus battery issues :)

Same exact problem with pictures with my moment too. It "looks" like I'm getting a message/picture and when I hit download (which doesn't always pop up either), the entire message/picture just dissappears - poof! The only way I can view my picture messages is to go to a PC and go to the sprint picture site. I can't even access the pictures via the browser on my phone - it just seems to stall. Really? How is this a "smartphone" when something that was so easy on my "simple" phones in the past takes so much effort to use? Anyone resolve this other than going to the website?
