What do your X Screens look like?

Anyone help?? ----> When I change my CENTER button icon to a custom icon of my liking, it reverts back to the STOCK Launcherpro icon after a while. How can I keep my Launcherpro icons from turning back into default icons??? Anyone else having this problem??? THanks guys...

Had the same problem when I first installed. I used the change shortcut option and selected exactly the same thing and then changed the icon, rather than just changing the icon. Not sure why it works, but it has stayed ever since.

Classy. I would only use that wallpaper at black tie events.

Change it to no icon first. Then change it to the correct icon. That should work.

I didn't want to create an account over there so I'll ask here.

So I downloaded all three items, including the usb driver folder. However, when I connect my X via USB debugging mode and go into device manager to update the driver, it says "Windows could not find driver software for your device."

I have no clue what's wrong. I'm directing it to the usb_driver folder that I downloaded but I keep getting the same message. Help please!

The very first time you plug in your DroidX to your computer, Do not turn debugging on! Plug it in, let it recognize the device normally. Once it's done, then unplug, turn debugging back on on the phone, and reconnect. That should eliminate the error.

Here's what i have so far. Trying to get it down to 5 screen, these 3 being my main screens and the ones i'm done working on... for now.

Screen1: Jorte - free in market. favorite calendar widget, it has TONS of widget options (Monthy, Weekly, 2-Weeks Horizontal, Tasks, Agenda) and if you go into the settings, there's more widget shapes and sizes so you can make it fit your screen. I settled on Jorte Horizontal 4x2 widget, and Jorte Agenda 4x2 widget. I tried the full calendar widget... but this seemed more usefull

Screen2: ADW Launcher - i prefer ADW over LauncherPro because i can get a 5x6 grid of icons and i can resize widgets. I'm also running the Alt Dark Free theme.
Beautiful Widgets - well worth a buck and change
Launcher-X - full paid version, i use this whenever i want to remove the app name and/or get a nice look to a row of icons
Folder Organizer - not really shown, but i use this as a free way of assigning custom icons
BattStatt - battery meter in text
*wallpaper is just something i googled, cherrywood
*icons are Glossy Waxed Wood (google it) from a couple different sites. i photochopped them before copying them to my sd card for 2 reasons: 1) to make them fill the icon space as much as possible, so many icons are too small, and 2) a simple color/brightness/contrast change to make them a different but keep the texture

Screen3: Cubed Media Player - (search "Abrantes" on market). Still trying out media players but i like this ones uniqueness, not sure i'd recommend it completely though
*custom icons lead to folders or the obvious app like YouTube

*Note: i'm currently using Quick Settings and don't have any toggle widgets anywhere on my screens. Love it.

I use WidgetLocker for my lock screen. You can place widgets and shortcuts on the lock screen, change the background and there are several other options.

I tried it today and WidgetLocker let me pick a wallpaper but then displayed a message "Motorola gallery not supported" and now I can't even pick a wallpaper it just repeats the message.

You need to store the wallpaper to your sd card or picasa (if you have picasa pics in your gallery) then choose the wallpaper from your gallery. Works great when you do it like that. Honestly I have never even looked at the moto gallery because I never like pre installed wallpapers on phones so I have no clue what is in there.

The gallery is just all the pictures on the phone.

You need to install the Froyo 3D gallery because there is some compatibility issue between widgetlocker's ability to see images and Moto's stock gallery.

See this thread to get it, if you don't already.

that's Fancy Widget. it was taken off the store because they copied HTC but you can google and find the .apk file of it (make sure its version 1.3.0). also some people have said that you can just scan the barcode and it will still install.

Awesome! Thanks! I can confirm that by scanning the barcode I was able to install it. Works perfectly!

How do you guys get your images to display so large on here?? When I try to post screen shots, I get an error from the forum saying they are too big. When I resize them, they appear as small thumbnails. I want you all to see what I have in EXTRA LARGE!

Images you upload here are restricted in size.

Images you upload to any other website and link to them here, can be any reasonable size. I put mine on Picassa (Google) and chose to use a smaller image..
