Good app for mapping runs?

Ok so here's the deal guys and gals, I am trying to have my phone assist me with my running. There are plenty of apps that will track my run via gps if I bring my phone on the run with me, but I don't wanna do that.

I want to be able to map a course out, enter how long it took me, save the map and even share it with friends. Ideally the app would have the gps running features I mentioned above just on case I ever do start bringing my phone with me.

Here is an example of what I mean in website form (unfortunately they make a sweet app for the iphone but their android version is pretty awful right now.
MapMyRun.com -

Runkeeper is my fav. Has a nice interface with a great website it syncs to with more info. Has a lot of data that it tracks and everything. Only thing I wish it had was voice prompts telling you time and distance. Only CardioTrainer has that.

But RunKeeper is my choice.

So does runkeeper have the features that I mentioned with regard to mapping a run out on a map WITHOUT having to actually bring the phone with me on the run?

Ok I'm confused, the only thing I'm seeing is something to start a timer.... Is the mapping functionality that I want only available online at the website?

Yes, sorry. I didn't realize you wanted to map the run from the device manually. I'm not sure of any apps that will do that, but RunKeeper is the best I've seen, although it can't do what you are looking for

kwest - Why do you need a phone app if you won't be bringing the phone with you? It seems like this could be done just as easily through a website on your home computer. This would allow you to explore many more options and not limit yourself to programs that have an android application.

Figured this may come up. The reason I'm interested in this functionality is b/c I run every morning with a buddy. He picks me up and we drive somewhere we want to run (please no lectures lol, it takes a lot to get up every morning before work and run @ 7:00am, so the variety is necessary to keep us going). I want to be able to map out a suitable run and then go do it: it would be a big help to have this functionality on my phone so I can do it on the run.

Hopefully the imapmyrun app eventually supports this (I'm under the impression that the iphone version does).

Again, if anyone knows about an app with this functionality this would be supremely helpful :)
