What is your favorite live walllpaper?

i use the city at night live wallpaper. Its like 6 or 7 down in the market and i love it. You can see the traffic lights moving, airplanes, and the clouds move behind the city. It was like $0.99

I love this one, too! Its my favorite. I love how customizable everything is. But I dislike how it makes my phone much slower and uses quite a bit of battery. If I know that I need my phone to last unusually longer than usual, I will switch to another wallpaper.

You guys need to try out the new live wallpaper creator.. you can make your own live wallpapers with it!

http://www.ownskin.com/livewallpaper

What I like about them, is they don't constantly update the entire display, so they use less battery power, yet still have a nice "wow" factor to impress other people. Plus they made it easy to just add some basic things like a custom live clock to the walpaper itself.

Not bad, since the app is free in the marketplace, and the creator is browser based on your PC.

hey, thanks for the suggestion, i've just downloaded it and love it; it's the best live wallpaper i've seen

i also have installed a few other, which, though not as nice, are worth a try:
- Digital Rain is a customizable matrix-like wallpaper
- Shake Them All! is very fun, but i don't actually use it as a wallpaper
- Star Chase is great, especially if you're a Star Wars fan like i am :D , though not customizable

The only problem with major wallpaper change live wallpaper like the city one, and the storm one you guys are craving is that it'll suck your battery dry in no time.

IMHO the best way to impliment live wallpaper is with subtle changes, like a clock, calender, and small animation stuff. The rest IMHO are just graphic demos to impress people, but they serious hamper your phone's performance.

I just tried the "an wobble" live wallpaper, and that slows my phones response down to a serious crawl!

the performance impact on my desire is almost unnoticeable and though you are right about the battery drainage, since i have to charge it roughly every night so it'll last through the day ahead, it doesn't make a difference if i've 5% left or 25%.

the way i see things, live wallpapers with great graphics are a nice way to enjoy the power of my android phone, and i'm all right with the battery cost. but after all, it's a personal decision whether to use one or not :D

Yep..we find here is we use our gps applications or playin some of the better games, that we have to make a choice between live wallpapers and using retty much every other nifty to on our phones.

Yeah they are cool, but nothing better then showing off your fancy phone, and having it shut down because its outta juice.. LOL!

Metal Slug Zombies - lets you blast the zombies if you want and play a mini game where you don't let them reach the other side of the screen. XD Has many options for amount of zombies and planes that bomb them and such. Fun wallpaper

Nexus Revamped Pro...just gorgeous. Simplistic yet cool. Free version is great, pro costs money but gives you tons of customization. Just 4 different colored lines streaking across the screen. Can choose how many lines, how fast, how long tails are, and tons of stuff
