Help Beautiful Widgets feature request - Auto weather refresh when forecast opened

Just curious if this has been discussed or suggested to the developers? What I mean is, when I tap the weather icon to open up the forecast, it would be nice if that triggered a refresh of the weather data, regardless of what my refresh intervals are. I know that I can go to menu and click refresh, but it seems like this would be a nice toggle option.

I went to the BW website but didn't see an email option or some way to suggest this. Anyone know how to contact them? Twitter?

doesnt BW have an option where you can have it refresh everytime your phone wakes up?

There is now a "Refresh on Wake" option in the new version...it was updated last night, I believe.

If you also use the live weather wallpaper that option has been there for awhile. Simply tapping the temperature would update the current weather without the need to open the forecast.

I'm not sure why that feature never made it into the actual widget, but the new update on wakeup seems to work pretty well.

It is a seperate download but interfaces with Beautiful Widgets to display the current weather as a live wallpaper.

Search in the market for Beautiful Live Weather, or when you update if you scroll all the way to the bottom of the configure page in Beautiful Widgets there is an option to "Get Live Wallpaper".
