trade inc. with amoled screen for droid 2

Ok if anyone has a upgrade and wants a inc with the amoled screen my wife really wants a droid 2 it's in perfect condition with a screen protector on since the first day....just thought id post it if intrested pm me.

Where did you get your info from? Last time I checked ALL Droid Incredibles have the AMOLED screen. The Incredible is NOT one of the devices that HTC will being using the S-LCD in.

Yeah, all Droid Incredibles new and old no matter when you buy it have the AMOLED screen. HTC said themselves that by making the Nexus One and Desire lines be partially AMOLED and partially super LCD, they had enough AMOLED extra to keep the Droid Incredible as being AMOLED only and had no plans to introduce super LCD screens to the Droid Incredible.

The reason for the Incredible delay in shipping was due to a lack of screens, as Samsung, being the sole producer is allocating more resources to their line of Galaxy S phones.

Therefore, they would need to switch to Super LCD simply to be able to sell their phone to "somewhat" meet demand.

Yeah the dinc that I recently got (two days ago), really doesn't look like AMOLED to me.

I post a message stating that HTC officially said no SLCD for Incredible and you reply by saying no you're wrong" and your evidence for supporting your claim is nothing.

Allow me to repeat what was said in my previous post. The Incredible shortage was due to a low supply of AMOLED screens. HTC builds the Nexus One, Desire, and Incredible with AMOLED screens. By introducing Super LCD screens to the Nexus One and Desire lines, they had enough AMOLED supply to keep the Incredible as an AMOLED only phone. It's as if you didn't read my post at all because nothing in your post addresses what I posted.

Inc has not changed sku's and would need this to use SLCD (unless not being sold in California, Minnesota and New York). My guess is no SLCD for Inc, as a result.

I tried the D2 at lunch, so as far as the display:

1. Far more sharper and clearer than the Inc
2. Looks better than the Droid 1 as well
3. Not anyhwere near as washed out as the Droid 1 and I could not tell much difference compared to the Inc. I could with the Droid and especially the X and EVO.
4. I never thought I would say this, but for web, I prefer the D2. I compared both with same sites for image quality.

Side note: The keyboard will make this device an overnight sensatio for emulator and PC port fans. The keyboard is Touch Pro 2 worthy for feedback and ease of typing.

Added: I would take the Droid 2 over the Inc- in spite of a few issues:

1. Weaker sound for music than Inc (but call quality KILLS the Inc)
2. Card stuck behind the battery (lame)

Still, the display is way better than I expected and the keyboard is gamer sweet

Call me surprised, stupid, whatever, but I am surprised, none the less.

I would rather have the SLCD then the AMOLED, it's not anything special at all. I'll never buy another AMOLED that isn't the new "super" one that Samsung is only using on their Galaxy S series.

Never. Not a snowballs chance in hell I would trade the Inc for a D2. I would keep the Inc or get the X.
