I'm finally relenting after having gone a couple of months with a naked incredible. What do you guys think about Amzer cases? Are there any specific cases you would recommend? I was thinking about getting the Amzer TPU Hybrid Case.

Also, is Seidio really so much better than Amzer that I should pay a premium for a phone case?

Thanks for your opinions.

I got a few Amzer cases (hard plastic) and they were very cheaply made. Several didn't even fit together correctly at all and are worthless. Not sure about the TPU case but the company's general build quality has left me very unimpressed.

Similar to Kod1ak, I got the Seidio Active case and LOVE IT. If you want a case that feels like HTC made it with how well it fits, go with Seidio - little pricier but you get what you pay for here definitely.

I have the high gloss silicone case from verizon, which it's said is made by Amzer. The material seems to be good quality, a stiff silicone, but the construction is a little iffy, there's a line all around the edge where there's apparently a seam. I cut out the power button cover because it seemed like it was too easy to accidentally turn on the screen. I also have the holster/case from verizon/amzer, and the finish of that is definitely better.
I'd think a slightly soft case would be better than a hard case in case of drops, as the softer case would absorb a bit of the impact to the phone, unless the hard case was so stiff that any impact went only to it and not the phone.

About 2 weeks ago I received the TPU Hybrid in white and the phone fits in great and seems to protect the phone well. Definitely a lot better than that 2 piece gradient I originally purchased with the phone. The USB port is open nice, and the camera / flash / and speaker ports are also well cut. The power and volume buttons are covered but slightly raised on the case but it all works out well. It only seems to be a little bulky on the sides where it meets the screen but it really hasn't affected my texting or browsing and it seems to protect the screen pretty well. I def won't need a case for a while..

i bouught the hard verizon amzer case. dropped my phone one 1 of the 4 corners that it doesnt cover and knicked the corner of the phone. im tempted to take it to verizon and ask them whats the purpose in a phone case that doesnt protect your whole phone? wish i wouldnt have bought it and waited for the innocase.

I have the luxe argyle silicone case from Amzer. Adds just a little size but fits the phone perfectly. I have dropped my phone from waist height a few times now and it just bounces a little, no scratches or dings at all. It's smooth but not slippery and doesn't feel like it sticks in pockets. I wasn't expecting anything great because I got it for 10 bucks but it turned out very nice. The innocase is only like 17 on Amazon now though, I just didn't like the 2 piece setup.

i like my amzer case :)
Its the amzer tpu hybrid case. Its the first and only case i've had using my incredible.
(I'm using a mirror style screen protector)

when i first put it on I was afraid that it would be too loose. But the tpu molds into it tight with the heat of my hands.
It for me adds a good bulk. Without the case i'm clawing at the phone. with the case it gives it just a slight thickness that makes me feel safer about the phone. And it also has a light rubber like feel to it so I get good grip on it.
It does have that visible seam that goes all the way around but it doesn't bother me. I'm thinking about filing it down but it hasn't bothered me enough to that point.
All ports and whatnot are cut out perfectly in the tpu.
I've gotten lots of compliments on it already and someone asking me to write down the name of the case. So I think it's aesthetically ( ;) ) pleasing.
My one issue was i stuck it in my jeans and the jeans dye got on my case and gave it a tint of blue. So i actually put in an order for a hot pink one today.
Dropped it once before and pretty good so far.
Paid $11 shipped on ebay and i really think i got my moneys worth and thensome.

This is what I was looking at getting. Guess I'll be ordering it. I know that with my ipod touch I've dropped it plenty with my silicone cover and it's doing just fine. Well almost fine I think it's getting lonely now that I have my Incredible. LOL!

p.s. does the screen protector make it hard to see when you have it on? Here in Idaho it gets pretty bright in the summer and I worry about not seeing the screen.

Here it is. But yea in sunlight it sucks. Looking at the inc outside in daytime even without the protector still sucks. Lol!
Anyways, my brightness level though is seriously set to like 20% though to conserve battery. I'll test it tomorrow with a higher brightness level and see how it fares in the sunlight then.

The protector itself doesn't "repel" finger face oil that well. Not too surprised since it has to have some reflective aspect to it. The tpu case covers the edges of the protector well though so it looks pretty sleek. I bought like 2 of them for $3 shipped. You can have the other if you like.

The pink/clear one that I got fits nice and snug, but the white one I just got in yesterday is pretty loose on one side. I think I got a lemon. :( The left side is fairly snug, but the right side kind of bows out a little.
