What to do and not do with EVO

Do use a screen protector and case....self explanatory.

Don't buy cheap chargers for a $500 device. Someone in another forum car charger melted and could have caused his car to catch fire. His EVO did not get messed up as it was charging in the car. I only use HTC chargers but that's me. If your charger cost $3, I wouldn't use it on my phone.

The glass on the evo is very durable, using a case or screen protector is certainly safer but many agree that it is unnecessary. do charge the ego overnight.

Who cares about the glass? If you drop your phone and the phone ceases to function but the glass remains in tact what good does that do? A case absorbs the impact of a fall.

I have 3 different cases and I know everyone loves to ask me about my Seidio Innocase II when I'm using the pearl white case. The phone is hot, but the white case intensifies the hotness.

Don't install brand new apps without doing some research on permissions and the person/company who released it. Any app can be coded to pull all the information from your phone and sent overseas into someone's wonderful database.

Great advice. I tell people I only download apps with 4 1/2 stars or more. I did download the Zombies Live Wallpaper/game that was 4 stars but I have yet to have an issue with the app.

Ok ok, I will charge my EGO overnight :D

....but I will NOT charge my EVO overnight anymore unless I need to. I go down 1% overnight, that is all, and I'd rather charge it when I can take it off the charger as soon as possible after the light turns green, which is during the day. That is just me.

Brother, I do the same thing. I take my phone off when the light turns green.

It should say DONT use task killers if you don't know what you're killing.

I just removed advance task killer. it wasnt working with froyo.. I read up on it and tried other task killers for a few days.. Froyo doesn't need it.

I got 23 hours with 75% battery life without the task killer. :D

seriously. just re-charged my phone for 30-45 minutes before i head out..

DON'T take your evo on a rollercoaster

DO carry it deep sea diving.

DON'T use task killers.

DO keep a battery charger close by.

DO show off your phone to your apple fanboy friends so they can complain about how their phone DON'T do nearly as much shit

I DID show my EVO to a couple of apple fanboy's and now they are proud new owers of EVO's :D:D:D:D

Nope, your phone should be just fine using a charger from blackberry. I use my charger from my old sprint touch with my EVO. I had to put a micro usb adapter on it because its for a mini usb phone.
