Help Help sending MMS to iPhone

Hey everyone. I have a problem. Everytime I try to send a photo to my girlfriend on her iPhone via chomp or stock messenger, she never receives them. But she can send me photos just fine. I've tried to lower the quality down and she still does not receive them. I always have to resort to emailing them to her. Does anyone know why this is happening? I thought I read about this on her before but I couldn't find the thread so I apologize if this has already been discussed before. Thanks

I had same problem sending to iphone (and a few others) I had been using Handcent and switched to Chomp. All but 1 iphone friend now receives my mms messages. I don't have access to an iphone for testing, is there some sort of setting in the iphone that would stop downloading mms? also, there are some other threads on the subject.

Dump your girlfriend for a lady who has love for Android.

Or, if you're really fond of your current girl. Throw her iPhone in the garbage (you can blame it on me) and buy her a present. Girls like presents, especially shiny things. Make it a new Android phone.

sorry, had to. ;)

Haha. She actually makes fun of me for always poking around on this site. I do have to agree with her on one point though. That I wish my incredible was more minimalistic and simple. TOO many customizations. That is one reason that I am a little jealous of her iPhone. I know I will be burned at the stake for saying that. I prefer the design of the iPhone with a better made housing but I prefer the OS on the android. I love my incredible as its my first smartphone. Does everything that I want/need it to. I am a little bummed that my original phone that I got at launch blew its speaker a week ago and I had to get a replacement. Hopefully the new one doesn't have the same problem over time. Plus studies show that iPhone users have more sex.

haha no sexting. I hear that "facetime" feature on the new iPhone is really taking off for the porn industry. I wonder why your phone wasn't resizing photos. I would really like to find out why my photos never go through. Her photos come through just fine.

UHF3....one last thing. I live in NYC and to be honest I can't remember when the last time I saw a girl using an android phone. Everyone here has an iphone or a blackberry. I'm sure they are out there or maybe I just don't pay enough attention.

My lady had an iphone but we just bought her a Droid X recently. When she still had the iphone I think the issue was the pictures were to high resolution for the iphone to accept and it is a carrier limitation to cut down on data sent and recieved.
I tried lowering the picture settings to the lowest settings and they all went through perfect without any issues. Although I have also sent pictures to people on other at&t non iphones and the high quailty images went through fine as well without lowering the resolution setting so it may just be iphones cant handle images that are too high quality...
