ORANGE still out of stock

Well it's been almost three weeks now since i've ordered my HTC Desire and still nothing from orange, anyone else had the same problem? Anyone heard anything about when they will have stock back in???

I like the look of these deals but have had so many problems with 'middle men' companies in the past ive decided the only option for me is to go direct. Hope everything will b good for you and you won't suffer the same dilemmas as i had. Very jelous that you have your handset though!!!

I had to wait two months for Orange to get them in stock back in July.

Make sure you sign up for their stock notification email. But even then, when I rang up the first time they said all their new stock was already allocated and I had to wait for the next shipment.

I rang up within 10 seconds of getting the next email notification and the guy I spoke to didn't even realise they were in stock yet.

I've got my local orange store on the case!!! They're checking for stock daily and intend to get one in once they see that there's stock in HQ

My local orange store had about a dozen in stock. The problem was, they couldn't offer me a loyalty-based upgrade tariff - only the bog standard tariffs. Only Orange 'over the phone' could compile a custom tariff based on my payment history etc. So I had to wait.

Got there in the end ey m8. Ive sorted out my deal and everything, just waiting for the all importamt thing now! Looking at the 'show us your desire homescreen' forum doesn't make it any easier! I'm considering buying my case in hope it'll speed up the arrival of my phone (if only life worked like that LOL)

Lucky you, when was that? I hope they'll have them back soon for goodness sake! Surely this is bad for their business

T-Mobile seem to struggle getting stock. I was told they would be getting a delivery this Wednesday or Friday. There was nothing from them today, and on their Twitter they can only 'expect' a delivery, not confirm it.
If i've not heard anything by Friday i'm going to cancel and get it from a non-direct website.

Hmm i think you should go to the actual stores. I got mine from an orange store in london and many stores have it when i asked the guy.

Ive only ever got phones this way and never had problems

My mate had been waiting for 6 weeks. By chance he popped into his local store the other day and they had it in stock so he just upgraded there.
