Help Gallery App in Incredible?

I downloaded a modded version of the Gallery app on my Eris and am now using it on my Incredible. Everything works great and it is really snappy and crisp. Only problem I have, and this is probably really dumb, is that the app icon is really small in comparison to all the other app icons. Probably because when it was modded for the Eris, it was done at a different screen resolution. It there anyway to fix this short of rooting?

Just get the 3d gallery apk from the nexus one. Same thing, but no icon issue.

OK I got the Nexus one gallery and installed it but when I open the app for the first time, it starts loading the pictures and just sits there and no pictures ever load after about 15 minutes it just says 'loading galleries' or something like that. I tried this 3 times and then reinstalled and same thing. When back to the old modded gallery and it worked in a snap. Could be something to do with the nexus one version being multi touch i guess.

Another problem I found with the modded gallery besides the icon issue is that when going into camera from the app it won't allow the full 8mp resolution. Hmmmm
