And of course, the Linpack numbers are obviously 2.1. Not a useful benchmark.

I'm getting better numbers with my EVO thanks all our devs over XDA .But even if I wasn't I rather carry an iPad and a flip phone over the Epic all day.

If you love the Epic so much, why are you trolling in the Evo forum for? For example I am a huge EVGA fanboy, I don't go to Asus, MSI, XFX or any other EVGA's competition's website to talk smack. I don't care about their products.

I'm interested in the Epic too, but I'm not gonna go there and link post after post about the Evo just to piss off people. We're not stupid here, we know where to look for info.

Wow people gettin crazy over this... I have an epic on pre-order so when I get it on the 31st I will do a real comparison with the fastest rom available for EVO. I know not fair because the Epic won't have custom roms right? In drag racing you race what you bring, so in phone benchmark test im going to test whats out and whats real.

Either way the Epic looks like an extra awesome Android phone. I'm not emotional attatched to the EVO and if something better comes out I can admit it and still use my EVO. I like the comically huge screen and sleek design, but after messing with the Epic if I really like it better I might switch.
