Root Anyone Rooted after installing 2.2?

I was rooted under 2.1 and installed the Froyo 2.2 update easily on the first try. Everything is working great in 2.2 except that I lost root.

I have tried going back through the root tutorial but am getting an error on this step:

when I try Run "adb push exploid /sqlite_stmt_journals/exploid"

I get

"No such file or directory"

In 2.1 there was a directory "sqlite_stmt_journals" but it's not there in 2.2. I've installed the latest SDK so I'm not sure what else to try.

It is possible to keep root after the upgrade. If you really miss it you could go back to 2.1 root and then upgrade to 2.2. I followed the directions @ alldroid.org and everything worked well.
