As you can see my Ally has a fully theme's ROM, no this is not a Droid, its the LG Ally, keep reading you'll understand why it said Droid (Its a Droid theme on MetaMorph)

WHAT YOU NEED TO GET: I WONT EXPLAIN THE STEPS IN NOOB FORM BUT ITS PRETTY EASY JUST READ:
-You need root
-You DO NOT need a ROM but I am using: http://androidforums.com/all-things-root-ally/148337-rom-lg-ally-v8-ultra-light.html (You can use the stock ROM as long as you have root but I would say flash this so you have more internal memory)
-MetaMorph (available on market)
-BusyBox (available on market, MetaMorph requires it)
-Theme (I looked at about 25 theme's this is the only one that works fully and looks amazing): MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service

How to put theme on phone:
MetaMorph should create a folder "Android Themes" on your sd card automatically, connect to USB, mount SD Card, go to Android Theme's folder, drop the theme there, unmount, fire up MetaMorph and extract the theme, than to go "Pick Existing Theme", and just follow the rest, will take about 5-10min to theme your phone.

I WILL LOOK FOR MORE THEME'S THAT ARE FULLY COMPATIBLE WITH LG ALLY'S STOCK ROM SO CHECK BACK!!!

Solved in other post too.

your idea for AllyRR worked. I tried it once and it didnt but this time it did. I went in and restored my nandroid backup that I made before all of this. Its all good now :p

I was so scared.
Hahah I know where you are coming from if I bricked my phone there would be no way for me to get a new one (the life of a teenager)

Silly question, but has anyone tried to theme the ally using a non stock home launcher? Reason being, I would assume themes would work with non stock launchers, however just trying to be sure.

Thanks.

to answer your question i encorporated LauncherPro 0.7.0.2 (or watever the build name is) into Dapper Duck, im testing it right now to be sure it works if so it will be posted as a replacement for the generic android home screen in DDuck :)

Thank you for those steps. The second theme you posted wasn't quite what I expected, I did a nandroid restore and back to the stock theme. I'll keep this in mind when other themes become popular.

Btw, the themes you posted worked fine with adw.launcher, and I would assume other non stock launchers.

EDIT: I grabbed the first theme you posted in your original post. Looks much better than the second. I didn't like the "Droid Does" on the notifications background, so I simply pulled that .png into Photoshop and replaced it with a 75% black opacity layer. Looks very nice. Thanks again Vmanisme!
