Help watching nfl games live

Had to have the app installed prior to July 22. Everyone after that has to pay for a Vcast fee for live games. No matter what you should still be able to watch live programming on nfl network with it.

How sure are you on this? I read that no matter what, once the season starts, everyone has to pay for VCAST?

I read that after Sept 1, you need to pay to watch.

Honestly the best way is thru Slingplayer and Slingbox. If you dont have a Slingbox, it can be a great investment. ive had mine for about 3 years and I couldnt live without it. The pic quality is insane and you can do anything on ur cable box (DVR, ondemand...) from anywhere with 3g or wifi coverage. I cant wait to watch my Jets on my DInc this season.

Blows. I had NFL mobile installed a long time ago but after flashing a custom rom it's gone. There has to be a work around.

That is my thought oo. I had it, lost my phone and got a replacement from assurian on the 24th of July. One of the first apps I downloaded was the NFL app... I'll be really pissed if I don't get to use it as it was originally promised. I'm calling right now and will update this thread with VZs answer. (At least THIS customer service reps answer...it seems that they vary greatly.)

Everyone gets the Premium (live games and NFL Channel) features through 8/31. After that you need the $10 Vcast Videos feature if you downloaded the app after 7/22. If you downloaded it earlier, you get grandfathered for the premium features for the 2010/2011 season. Everyone gets the basic features free, which include news and live audio.

Unfortunately, I have no idea how it will be handled for customers who had the app early, but then for various reasons had to re download the app after the cutoff.

Can someone please keep us updated on this? I wanted to root today but if this is a problem then I'll probably just stay stock. Nothing better than being able to watch NFL games during a party at the park or while I'm at work.

EDIT: Would a paid TI backup prevent any problems after flashing a new ROM since it will keep the old settings and all?
