Search History in Youtube and Marketplace?

Does anyone know how to clear the history in youtube or marketplace?

Disclaimer-It's not from searching for inappropriate things rather it is knowing it can be done. I have not been able to locate a way to do this, anyone figure it out?

The browser and the main menu history is easy to reset, but youtube and marketplace seem impossible.

Seems like with all the Droid can do this would be easy!

I would like to know this i as well. I also noticed i cannot delete my search history for google maps either? anyone else. sometimes is cool to look back places you searched for but then the list gets to long.

press the menu key while in the youtube app, go to settings, and there's "clear search history"

the way I deleted my google map search was deleting the app completely and reinastalling it.

I still haven't found a way to delete "market" history. They should fix this!

This is for HTC Hero so I don't know the applicability for other phones but figure it is same for all android phones. I'm kind of an amateur.

Here goes:
1. Open up settings
2. Click on applications
3. Click on manage applications
4. Find Google Maps and click on it
5. Click Clear data and then Click clear cache

You're good to go. You're secrets are now erased. Let me know how this works out.

I looked at the application and I do not have a clear data option...just clear cache and uninstall updates.

I certainly wish there was a way to clear that search list....mine is getting way too long to be useful anymore.
