I have this one from HTC Australia. It does say compatible for Desire. Note: This update is applicable for APAC & EU HTC Hero (Android 2.1) , HTC Legend, HTC Desire, HTC Wildfire, HTC Aria.(This update is not intended for use by North American customers)
Mine works fine, except for the fact that it only syncs previous appointments, not future ones. Since I am for the most part aware of what I have done in the past, and would like to know what is in store for me in the future, does anyone know how to fix this issue?
Assuming you have gmail (or googlemail), I exported my contacts from Outlook, imported them into Google calender. On the phone, people, view. only tick Google (I keep my contacts 'master' as my Outlook, easy enough to import/export). You may have to export contacts to SD card and then import them back to phone as google contacts...there's a thread on here about that some where.
Google (haha) 'sync google calender with m/s outlook calender'. This bit of s/w will do what is says!
I like the fact that my calenderds now have 3 way sync, and a backup.
