Help does anyone have the air rave?

I have one. I dont really have an issue with it interacting with my EVO though... other than throwing my weather widget off.

You might want to give sprint CS a call.

If you dont get service in your home you can get one from Sprint. It's like a tiny cell tower in your house that runs off of your internet connection. It works well for me most of the time. Occasionally I can hear the calls crystal clear, but the people on the other end cant hear me at all.

I have an Airave and it seemed to take about 30 minutes to adjust to the EVO. But on another note, I read an article regarding Sprint providing customers with an updated Airave. However, the only customers that will get a free one are those customers who Sprint feels qualifies to have one.

I know, if I dont have my Airave, I have absolutely no signal within my house, but if I walk down the street, I have a strong signal, "Figures"....lol

I have an airave.

I've noticed that the evo will give me very poor bars for voice when I'm not using the phone. As soon as I make or receive a call, the bars snap to full. Seems like the phone doesn't utilize the airave until there's an actual call.

Other than that, my airave works very well.

Also, the airave only provides 1xRTT signal, which is 2G. Don't expect good data speeds if you're using the airave to provide data.

Mine uses blue LED's, not green. Maybe a different model?

Can you tell us what "does not get along with my air rave" is exactly? A more specific description would probably help. I will say that Sprint support should be able to walk you through any issues.

The blue LEDs are the older model. The new model has green LEDs.

It just boosts cell/2G Signal. To help your data signal and transmission, use WiFi and your internet connection from your ISP at home.
