Good or Bad Move for GOOGLE?

My entire point was that iPhone has several Google apps and support. I dont see how adding an app such as Goggles is a bad/poor move.....

I just feel that Android should have apps that are exclusive to the Android Platform. You know to kind of distinguish themselves from IOS4. To create selling points. I know the Iphone has Gmail, Google Maps, and search. But so does my PC. Goggles is a app that Google can use to give themselves a little advantage. I show it off all the time to my Iphone buddies and they are always wowed. I guess pretty soon they can have it to. Just my 2 cents.

Hey I'm not one of these guys that hates Apple. I had the first iPhone and loved it but hated the network..IMHO I think thats why we have the great phones that we do is because of the iPhone but I think we need to keep all the good Google stuff to ourselves. Android is great and I want the other phones to see what they are missing..:D

Good point. But we still have Chrome to Phone, FREE navigation, and open source development :)

True but where does it stop? What if Google makes a extension for safari just like firefox has one to use Chrome to phone. Google Navigation could easily (though not likely) be ported over to IOS.
