I'm currently on the phone trying to confirm if my Captivate has the glass. I would think not, as it is already scratched to hell (I am not the gentlest). I have quasi confirmation from customer support, then tech support, and was just elevated to level three tech support when I requested a phone replacement.
So, level three representative said he WOULD NOT provide ANY proprietary information regarding Samsung phones and welcomed me to send my phone in for warranty replacement, but would not address the screen question AT ALL.
Probably the absolute WORST representative I have even spoken to, so called "Manager of Tech Support" Greg was belligerent when pressed for further information and refused to provide any identifying information I could use to lodge a complaint.
After speaking with Manager Douche Greg, I called Samsung America's Corporate office, who was even less helpful. Over and over I was told they could not provide any coroprate information as to who he reports too.
All in all, I can say for sure, my phone is scratched, and does so EXTREMELY easily. Also, Samsung has the ****ing worst upper level representatives I have ever dealt with and WILL NOT buy another Samsung device...Shitty Customer service will kill a good customer every time.
