i know the feeling bud...

i bought mine on release day and it had this issue where it would reboot whenever it wanted. leaving all the sob stories out i had to wait about 2 weeks for supplies to come in.

hang in there and update to the current leaked froyo and do whatever you want with it. i did!!! i rooted the phone, downloaded a bunch of apps, so that when i got my current phone i would know what i wanted.

screw it, youre getting a new phone anyway. my replacement is gold baby!

This is going to sound strange but just give it a try. Restore Factory settings.

Are you sure it's not a STUCK pixel? Try downloading and running the app JScreenFix to see if you can unstick the pixel. If not, than it's truly dead.

its there in the same spot all the time. I'll try and get a vid or pic of it.

I'm trying it but so far it has not helped. I have a new phone that will be here in about two weeks. I'm also having the navigation problem with this one, it will go back to car home, then the nav will be in the nav bar at the top, then I can resume it. It drops every 15-30 min.

I've had two phones with this issue. Waiting on my third. I still love the phone though. Don't worry, Verizon will take care of you and soon you will be loving your DX.

Sorry about your trouble. I'm grateful to have gotten a good X. It's about time I got a good phone. The Dinc's call quality was meh.
