Okay mods, I have to say the madness doesn't make sense sometimes. How do you move a post to the thread for apps when its applicable to the EVO 4G? Makes no damn sense at all to me. A newbie coming here probably has no clue their is an app section not even included in the EVO Section of the website. Why should a newbie have to look under a section not for the EVO? There are apps that work great on the EVO and some that don't. Shouldn't that be in this forum, not some random app thread? I mean seriously.

Some of you should probably take a look around your house/bedrooms. Is it neat and tidy? Do you have things organized? If you were to look for something and your house/bedrooms aren't organized, would you be able to find it easily?

What I'm trying to get at is, organization is an important part of life. It makes life easier, makes everything simpler, and can reduce stress for you, and can also help you save money in the long run.

My response to your quote is, yes it's an app, but it's just that. It's an app, therefore it belongs in an "Apps" thread. Sure it works great on the Evo, but it could also work great on the Epic, or a myTouch, or any other phone. So people with other phones, Epic, myTouch, etc, go to this Apps thread, they can all discuss how great it is, or discuss issues each one is having, and possibly making life easier for developers following these threads. You say, "how is someone supposed to look under a section not for the Evo?" Well I'll ask you, how did someone even get to the Evo section? The reason this forum has "Sub" forums, is because people don't want to wade through one LONG forum reading every single topic to match their search/question. Sure they can search for it, but that doesn't always bring accurate results. Someone needs help troubleshooting, there's a section for that. Someone wants to decide on an Evo or Epic? There's a Reviews section just for that. The beauty of organization greatly reduces the amount of time it takes to find what you're looking for.

Like others said, if you don't like it, go to another forum that's messy and has hard to find information.

Organization doesn't apply to forums as it does to our rooms. I personally visit the forums to read something interesting about MY phone. With all these threads being moved everything just seems clich

I'm sorry but it's incredibly annoying.

This is the first forum I've checked out where the moderators are so heavy handed... it's inconsistent with other forums I check out and it bothers me more then I ever would have expected.

I view moderators as folks who help cut off threads that are a detriment to the community due to personal attacks, way-off-topic discussions or topics that are off limits. I do not see them as forum organizers. This isn't a wiki where users and contributors expect organization, it's a forum. It's intended to be free form area for people to discuss things. If I need to find something, I use search.

The only thing I don't like its how inconsistent it is. I had a thread about watching movies on the EVO and it stayed here for almost 2 weeks and it helped a lot of people find out how to watch movies on the evo. After it was here for almost 2 weeks a mod moves it and now not a single reply since it was moved. I think if it was asked about the evo and not android in general it should stay in the evo forums

I'm sorry there are some of you that aren't okay with forum management and structure.

If you don't want your post moved, please place it in the proper place. I'm confused as to why that is such an issue. As for consistency - we're trying guys. Look at the number of members we have, and forums.. vs the number of staff.

More will be brought on soon, I hope.

Further, when mods close a "discussion" like this one, it is because they're tired of having to explain themselves. Please do not open another thread in an attempt to continue it. And when you insist on doing it anyway - I wouldn't recommend calling them names in the process.
