Yes I wiped data, and yes the bug exists there are many topics about it, and my phone lasts about 8 hours on light-medium use, do you think that its suppose to happen? Some people get 3 full days on heavy use with this phone. I will try to re-flash the phone because I didn't erase the dalvik cache that might be the issue. Here are some posts about the bug:

50% bug - LG Forum - LG Mobile Phone Forums - Carriers - Verizon
http://androidforums.com/htc-droid-eris/90711-fwiw-new-lg-ally-has-50-time-without-signal-bug.html
Battery Life & Cell Standby, possible fix - LG Ally Forum

ALSO I GOT ANOTHER SUGGESTION FOR 0.2:::
When we click something on android 2.1 it gets highlighted/turns yellow can you change it to like dark blood red to match the Droid X buttons that are in this ROM, like when you click the app drawer arrow it turns blood red, can you do that for everything =D.

I'll look at those links when I get home tonight. Thanks.

Lemme know if reflashing doesn't fix the launcher issue.

Reflashed ROM no more force close, gotta clear dalviks and data cache for ROM to work properly so you might want to tell this in the first post. But this is an epic ROM, if you ever visit Virginia Red Bull is on me!

You might want to look into modifying the 928droid theme posted on here for your ROM. I installed the theme and it looks amazing.

I agree the glassy black notification really spruces it up.

All in all the one thing about this rom that should never be changed, and never gets old, is the droid wav notification that plays for everything. Now I just need to change my call notification to a repeating droid wav

Here is what your ROM looks like with MM AndroidGlass theme, I would like a transparent notification bar though that would be nice, and clock with white text.

What theme is that? I can rip it off.

I'll also make it an option to completely theme out the entire phone when you install the ROM.

Maybe you can modify it a little bit and stuff, idk but here is the theme:

Maybe you can port HTC Sense to the LG Ally for your 0.2??? That would be like a major upgrade, its been ported to the Moto Droid, it comes with black notification bar and the glossy looks so it'll be pretty nice

I found some type of HTC .apk's that you might be able to port?? I dont know but here is the link:

The battery icons change every 20% only because that's what the stock icons do and all you've done it add the number. The Ally DOES report battery change every 1% unlike the droid 1. So if you change the icons and the way that icon is updated, you can get it to work... if you search in the XDA forums for something like, battery percentage notification bar or... battery percentage something... you'll find it... i'm not programming, but someone may figure it out.

Sure can! Just gotta find the right images to edit. This will be in 0.2.

Glad to hear it!
You could always be my first PayPal donor if you really wanted. I could put that towards a Red Bull. ;)

Thanks for the links.
Now the port of the Sense for the Droid 1 was very, very buggy and eventually died off in the development department. Ports are VERY hard to do. We'll see..
Any chance swapon funcionality could be added so i could use swapper?

Swap file would really help performance for me.
Don't know much about it. Will look into it.

Ran into a couple of issues...some of the live wallpapers are crashing the live wallpaper picker, seems to be galaxy, grass, and water are the ones crashing the app. Any ideas?
Hmm.. did you wipe your data and cache upon installation of the ROM?

This is very strange! Did both of you wipe your data and cache before installing?
Also - anyone else seeing this issue.

The version of the Superuser.apk included in Velocity 0.1.1 is the most up to date. However, if you really want to install it, try this fix:
If install from the market fails, use adb to issue these commands:
Code:
adb remount
adb shell rm /system/app/Superuser.apk
adb shell pm uninstall com.noshufou.android.su
or from terminal:
Code:
$ su
# (remount for your phone, Nexus One is 'mount -o remount,rw /dev/block/mtdblock3 /system', other phones will use the same pattern, but may vary on the '/dev...' bit)
# rm /system/app/Superuser.apk
# pm uninstall com.noshufou.android.su
# (same remount command as above, but with 'remount,ro' instead of 'remount,rw')
After that, you'll be able to install Superuser from the market.
