Realook screen protectors

Mine just came in today from Amazon. I have not put them on since I am @ work but I hope to sometime tomorrow. I saw them installed on a Captivate while in the store and they looked great and the guy had no complaints "they rock" were his words. I have yet to hear a bad thing about them elsewhere tis why I ordered mine - I know nothing of the att screen protectors so hopefully someone can help you with them.

If I manage to get these on properly (lol) I will post back with how I like them.

I have the ATT protector on my phone. 3/$10 is a pretty good price, and for that, they're...okay. One of the corners wouldn't ever lay down on the first one I put on (waited a week before pulling off and starting anew) and they suffer from pretty strong rainbow streaking from finger oils, but they otherwise don't negatively impact the look of the screen and the touch sensitivity seems unchanged.

I am most definitely in the market for something better, though.

Thanks. Please do post your opinion of them(sensitivity of screen, smoothness, distortion/glare). Pics would be great too.

Most people give the ATT and Realook ones a good review. My main concern is distorting the fantastic screen of the Captivate. I have the anti-glare Steinheil screen protector on my iphone 3G and it is pretty good but all anti-glares distort to some extent. The clear ones are supposed to be excellent, but they are expensive(2 for $17). The Realooks are only 2 for $11 on Amazon.

One thing I noticed is that the Realook screen protectors cover the 2 sensors to the left of the earpiece speaker and the AT&T ones do not. Is it better to cover these or will it decrease sensitivity?

The last two replies might answer your question about the light sensitive thing.. Of course never seeing a Vibrant I am not sure if they act the same as the Captivate.

I will post back in here once I get em on with how I like them. No problems

I installed mine last night. I dig em. I have no complaints and installation was a snap. Came with everything you need and they fit perfectly.

Finger slide (is that what its called ?) feels the exact same to me. I have not noticed any difference with the 4 menu buttons at the bottom at all which I was concerned about but its fine.

I do not notice any reduction in resolution and my HD tv shows I have on my Captivate look as crisp as before.. When they say "crystal clear" they meant it.

The only thing I do notice is fingerprints show up alot easier with these on which I do not personally care about since now that my screen is covered a swipe with the t-shirt or a rag fixes that. Dust is more noticeable as well but only slightly. My last screen protector on my bold 9700 was to textured for me and while it showed less fingerprints and dust the orange peel textured feel annoyed the hell out of me and made the screen look terrible --- these are like glass & look great. I added a few pics but I really have no idea what angle to shoot so if you need one certain pic taken lemme know I will do my best.

I am no photographer or reviewer - just thought I would help anyone out looking for what I think is the best screen protector I have ever used on any of my mobile devices to date and I have tried four different companies, now five..

Enjoy

Thanks. They look pretty good in the pics. Any rainbowing or extra glare?

I have not noticed to much rainbowing but there is an increase in screen glare. I compared them side by side and doing it that way its prominent though I guess not having the phone long enough without the screen protection I do not notice it really..

nice pics still
does it cover all the way to the bottom? i can't tell

Thanks. Sure does - fits actually perfectly with a tiny space left on top, bottom, left and right. Top speaker cut out matches as well.
