Help printing texts?

Is there any way to print texts? I've tried emailing them to myself, but it doesn't show the # of the person that sent it. I'm taking my ex wife to court & would like to bring in copies of our texts instead of my phone.

Maybe ask Sprint for a transcript? If you are rooted you can take screenshots of the text message and print those out...

Here is a simple solution that WORKS! There is a program called
G-Backup that "Backs up" all of your incoming and outgoing SMS, MMS, Call logs, Video, and Pictures to your Gmail account. Full Text Transcripts sent to your Gmail account which can be accessed by any computer with internet capability.

Instructions:

You will need to set up a Gmail account if you do not have one!

Install G-Backup on the phone in question *must be Android based* (Spouse, Child, Teen) and select the setting that backs up Content Immediately, use your Gmail account and password so every time a text is sent or recieved it automatically gets sent to a folder located on the left side of your Gmail home screen under "inbox" etc. with complete transcript, Time Stamp, and phone number of conversation.

G-Backup Screen Shot:

Label names is actually the folder names that appear in your Gmail account.

To help secure the install of G-Backup you can then install a program called:

App Lock- This program restricts access to other programs, requiring a password to open them. You can password protect the G-backup so settings and contents can not be veiwed or changed, they wouldnt even be able to open the program!

BUG-- App Lock has to be re-activated if the phone is turned off and restarted, meaning opening the program and typing the password to rearm it. This bug should be fixed with later releases which will autostart app lock when phone is rebooted.

Please note, spying on someones cell phone conversations is illegal.

There is a great free app in the market which allows you to print pretty much anything wirelessly from your phone. Its called PrinterShare.

Sprint can only give you the date and time stamp from a text and not the content we tried going through and ugly custody battle best thing i found was screenshots and email then printing may seem like a hassle but if you do it every so often and just keep them in a folder as you go
