UBR same here, very smooth rom, thanks for speaking up.

Thanks for the review YankeeDudeL...however I am going to have to respectfully disagree with your assessment ;)

Being a tester for Liquid...I'm biased.

Having said that...I've been flashing ROMs since the days of "SholesMod" and LFY v1.5 has got to be the fastest, smoothest ROM I have ever used. Even tonight I was showing my phone off to a couple of people that own Droids. They were COMPLETELY blown away by the speed. One guy was playing with my phone and was swiping screens, opening apps, and generally just going though the ROM as fast as he could to see if he could get the phone to stall. After a couple of minutes he gave up throughly impressed.

A few users have reported performance issues like the ones you described...Let's just say were not looking at the same phones!

Now, I mean no disrespect...I know you to be an honest guy so I believe you are reporting what you are seeing...I'm just not seeing it (at all).

Between the ROM's optimizations (based all around speed) coupled with Slayher's kernels (based all around speed...especially with compcache enabled)...something must have gone a muck with your phone

Initially mine seemed very laggy and was having a lot of random reboots. This was with the old kernel. I simply installed a different kernel, then installed slayher's NEW 1200 kernel. All better. :)
I'm not getting any where NEAR the quadrant scores some are, I'm usually in the mid 1500s, but real-life runs smooth.
Thanks for all the hard work liquid!

Same here, some noticeable lag. Especially in the drawer.

It would help to know:

what your specs are,
what your kernel is and what it is running at
what SET CPU profiles are setup and active
which scaling governor are you using
are you running autokiller and which setting are you using

what are your settings using:
ADW and/or
Launcer Pro

(meaning what is memory set to?) Is it set up at all?
Cache type?

I mean I understand there are always going to be some people with
issues but I agree with UBRocked, there is none faster, none better
right now than LFY!

When you first flash your system to a new ROM give your system
time to properly propagate the files.

I have the LFYv1.5 I uploaded this ROM before 11am when it was said that it was updated..

I've read thru this page, and I'm not getting a clear feel on what exactly is the difference in these two roms. Is there a bug in the former? Is it running to hot? I havent really pushed my phone since the flash but when using the net, and texting and all that(havent chk'd temp when using gps nav) I was around 102 degree. Give or take a little more and little less from that number.. At idle i chillin at high 70's and low 80's, but i do underclock when phone is at idle.

If I do need to reflash the updated 1.5, do I still wipe? How would I do this. I havnet added any themes, just slayhers 1100 kernel.

Did you read the changelog?
Many differences...

I'm assuming I need the Kernel that are on the left of the arrow? Not the 1.5 Kernels correct?

I've ran quadrant a couple times and they have consistently been in the 1580-1640 range. Setcpu is at 1200 max 1000 min with interactive setting and will stay around 102-109f range while browsing/downloadING. But this Rom runs smooth as can be. No lag at all. All though my first try at this Rom gave me some fc 's, I just re download after complete wipe of cache system and data now its flying.

Keep up the great work liquid.

Ok, I got these now. New to this so just not sure how to set them up the way they should be. Running Slahyer 1200 LFY kernel. How do I set up the correct profile in setcpu. Set right now for interactive and it says 600 max 300 min. Now running autokiller showing mem limits at 28 hidden, 32 content, 32 Empty. Using ADW. BTW Thanks for all the help everyone!
